I'm thrilled to announce the arrival of the very FIRST AUSTRALIAN STB Torbies BORN HERE AT MERLIASHAS BENGALS. 

2 Spotted Brown Torbies and 1 Marble Torbie on the 14/01/2026.

Sadly one of the spotted torbies passed away much to our distress. BUT the other 2 have survived and thrived.     

We are KEEPING MY GORGEOUS Marble Torbie and we have named her MELISHAZ BENGALS MARVELLA DEVILLE AKA "ELLA". HER SISTER has been named MERLIASHAZ SKLYER by her new owners....Kylie and Riley of Spotted Divas who were given the honour of purchasing the second kitten of the ORIGINAL SBTS born.  

SBT (Stud Book Tradition) means the above kittens are the FIRST 5th generation of purebred-to-purebred breeding in Australia of this colour.

Torbies born of a normal coloured Bengal female to a Red Bengal male will always be females.

They PUBLICALLY thanked both NARDOO AND LUCRUZ Bengals for their Cats/Kittens in their FB

Spotted Divas are legally bound by the contract that they signed, to promote us with every written information that they state about Skyler and with any photo that they post of her. Regardless of where it's posted.

When I questioned them regarding their lack of respect, not thanking and promoting us, I was phoned and abused. Then told I was the person who was unprofessional!

It's such a shame that those people who expect you to follow the law, cannot follow it themselves.

AND CONSIDERING the biggest of compliments that we bestowed on them by allowing them to have Skyler in their Breeding Program AS THEY LOVE TO PROMOTE 1ST SBT TORBIE IN AUSTRALIA.  They begged us at the start to purchase her and then when they thought that we were possibly pulling out they sent us a letter from their legal firm, threatening us with legal action.

WHICH I have to find it hilarious when they put this on their website LOL.  We offered them a refund numerous times.

Four beautiful cats arrived at Melbourne airport and picked up by Merliashaz Bengals on Tuesday 25th February, 2025.

These exquisite Bengal cats bring a new level of beauty and pedigree

NOT only to my breeding program BUT to add extra diversity to ALL BENGAL lovers in AUSTRALIA. 

These new Bengals will ensure top-quality kittens for our clients.
